Ladies Tropic 2,5mm shorty wetsuit s ideal for the diver or snorkeller wishing to keep the core body warm extending time in water. High quality neoprene helps reduce positive buoyancy of the suit. Metal skin seals reduce water flow in and out of the suit at entry/exit points making the suit warmer than conventional suits.

Review	I wore this in the Red Sea in late September and it was perfect although it was a bit chilly in the deeper waters and if you're still for any reason ie on a course. Pity they don't do a 3mm version of the She Dives I would have preferred that. Very easy to don and doff though and very comfy, not like the 5mm full that hurts your fingertips trying to get the damn thing on!

Advice on Wet Suits

If you are snorkelling in cold conditions you will need a wetsuit to keep you warm. There are a number of things to consider when buying a wetsuit for snorkelling. We have answered the common ones below:

What thickness wetsuit do I need?
For snorkelling you would generally use a shorty. 3mm suits are ideal for tropical conditions. 5mm suits would be more suitable for colder conditions (Red Sea etc). Choosing the right thickness however is completely subjective as different people feel the cold differently, its the same for the choice between a long suit or a shorty.

Snorkelling with a wetsuit, do I need anything else?
Wearing a wetsuit gives you additional buoyancy so you might want to consider a weight belt. Test carefully though and always ensure the belt is quick release so you can quickly drop it if you have to.
