Following the revolutionary principles introduced by Big Eyes, the Matrix establishes new records. The Cressi patented raked lenses and their special "inverted drop" shape has been developed even further.
The lenses are now as close as possible to the eyes, taken to the maximum levels possible. The newly designed frame is very streamlined and ends up being completely invisible when the mask is worn. The top part of the mask has strong grip rubber material inserts, for a great look. The soft silicone skirt has a new profile and a broad seal ring for excellent waterproofing and comfort without precedent.
The internal volume of the mask is exceptionally low, lower than many well-known scuba-diving masks and the weight is also very moderate.
Two pressure buckles integrated into the frame make strap adjustment quick and precise. This new design strap has a very broad purchase on the neck for magnificent comfort.
Excellent mask for snorkelling, scuba diving and skin diving.

Ideal Mask for those with larger faces/heads or with beards/moustaches.

Nice mask

Nice mask, good fit and very comfortable. Didn't leak (although i didn't go that deep). Happy with them. Comes in their own hard plastic protective case.

the matrix is a great mask

the matrix is a great mask. the only problem is, the low volume makes it pretty susceptible to fogging. and even with a good anti-fog you'll find yourself clearing pretty often. other than that, the field of view is wonderful and clear, the mask is very light and when on, is very comfortable. it has better nose space and can accommodate wider noses. which is great for me. overall it's an excellent mask.

Inspite of several attacks with Toothpaste and conventional...

Inspite of several attacks with Toothpaste and conventional spit before diving in 28 dgree centrigrade water - I found that it was very inclined to fog up -This may be a result of the excellent low volume air space between mass and eye . Other wise it was a very good field of view and I may be able to sort the problem.

This mask really is something else

This mask really is something else! It doesn't leak, it doesn't move and the low volume effectively prevents mask squeeze. The downward vision is exceptional and it looks great. The frame on the clear model seems to disappear at about 5m. I would recommend this mask to anybody. I have just got my PADI OW using a loaned mask - I can't wait to get this one down to 30m for my Advanced dives.

really good vision

really good vision. i wear glasses but the magnification was good enough for me to see without them. never let any water in and fit really well and was comfortable. easy to adjust.

Awesome mask

Awesome mask, great periphery vision. Very comfortable fit, especially across my large nose bridge and easy to clear. The best mask I've ever come across and as a Scuba Dive Instructor with several hundred dives under my belt, I've worked in varios masks and tried many others. This is by far the gem of them all!

Had my doubts as I had tried a Big Eyes...

Had my doubts as I had tried a Big Eyes and the fit wasn't great, but this fits really well. I think its a slightly narrower fit than the Big Eyes. As with the Big Eyes, vision is great, especially down in front of you. The old TUSA Liberator is now relegated to standby kit.
